Why choose rehab chiropractic in Kirkwood MO?

This is for someone who is looking for individualized care, wants to get to the root cause of their pain, and wants long-term results. At our. office no two patients's treatment plans are the same. We understand that everyone comes to us at different stages on their journey and we want to meet you where you are!

How is a rehab chiropractor different from a traditional chiropractor?

At a traditional chiropractor, patients come in and receive very similar adjustments to the person before them, they usually still have the same pain a few days to a month later totally reliant on the chiropractor to "fix" the pain every month, never quite getting that lasting relief.

A rehab chiro takes the time to understand the root cause or the underlying condition that causes the pain in the first place, which allows us to provide a true long-term solution and get you back to doing what you love. We treat you as an individual, not just a number.

How is rehab chiropractic different from physical therapy?

Physical therapy requires a referral from a medical doctor (primary care, orthopedic surgeon, OBGYN) as great as these doctors are in their field their expertise is not in the musculoskeletal system. So if they refer someone to a physical therapist for hamstring pain but the root cause is their lower back that therapist is required to rehab the hamstring which may provide temporary relief however the pain will always come back because they are missing the root cause.

Physical therapists also generally spend 15 minutes with a patient and then have the patient complete a few basic exercises that lack progression so even if they are rehabbing the correct area they never truly get you to the point where you can return to your favorite activity.

Disclaimer: This is not these providers' fault this is what happens when the insurance company dictates your care.

Rehab chiros are experts at diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal pains and do not require a medical doctor's referral. Because we operate outside of the insurance model the doctor can spend 100% of the time with you ensuring you are doing all the exercises that were uniquely chosen for your specific, condition, fitness level, and goals. And we can progress you appropriately as needed to keep you on track.
